Bradford Reed - never fails to entertain and inspire. This New York based composer fights and tames the idiosyncrasies of the pencilina, an original instrument of his own design and construction. The pencilina is an electric ten stringed collision of the hammer dulcimer, slide guitar, koto and fretless bass with six pickups of varied types. It is struck with sticks, plucked and bowed, giving Reed an incredibly wide sonic palette. Many have enjoyed Reed's frequent street performances and club dates. Bradford plays the pencilina, drums and keyboards with King Missile III ("Jesus Was Way Cool") and produced Failure and Eating People their latest albums on Shimmy Disc/Knitting Factory Records and EMusic. He also played the electric zither in the Blue Man Group's band in their lauded Off-Broadway show, Tubes for 8 years. Reed has appeared with his pencilina on TV and has toured throughout the US, Asia and Europe. Bradford recently finished his third solo album and is currently working on the soundtrack for Drunky, an animated series.

Phil Kline - Called by the New York Times "a true original," Phil Kline stretches the boundaries between avant-garde classical and ambient electronic music, often employing dozens or even hundreds of boom box tape players, mixed with acoustic and electronic instruments to create multi-dimensional sound environments in non-traditional venues such as the Brooklyn Anchorage, Washington Square or Central Park's South Meadow, as well as the Whitney Museum, Alice Tully Hall, the Kitchen, the Knitting Factory, the Amsterdam Concertgebouw and London's Barbican Centre. Cds include 'Glow in the Dark' on CRI and the newly-released 'Unsilent Night' on Cantaloupe.
