I'm going to have to break my lease and leave my apartment by April 1. If anyone knows anyone who's looking for great a 1.5 bedroom railroad apartment, downtown Bloomfield Street, for $1350, please send them my way. It's a great place--huge EIK, exposed brick, high ceilings, near everything.
I'm also selling virtually everything I own. Furniture (LR, Office, Kitchen, BR), air conditioners, dishes, bar glasses, kitchen gadgets, etc. So if you know anyone needing, well, pretty much anything, also send them my way.
In case you're wondering, my recent layoff has led me to re-evaluate my life. I'm going to follow through on an old dream--to thru-hike the Appalachian Trail. If I make it the whole way, that will take 6 months. From there, I think I'm heading West. The less I own or owe, the better.
