Found some background on the local filming, which mentions nyc, not Hoboken:

Gary & Michael Andrews were in New York this weekend, March 13th & 14th, with Michel Gondry to shoot the new video for `Mad World'! Keep your eyes on MTV and VH1 in the coming weeks for news on the video shoot and the premiere of the new video!
