As per the February 9 issue of New York magazine, a "hot hobby" in NYC appears to be...stripping lessons. Stripping as in...exotic dancers giving striptease lessons to others.
According to the article, "You can do it with a group of friends or individually. It's a bonding experience - kind of like a slumber party."
Or according to one stripper, "You have to have confidence to perform a striptease (recommends ice cubes)...You have to know your inner beauty to be secure enough to perform."
If your girlfriend wanted to go to such a class (either alone or with one or two of her Hoboken-based friends), what would you say? Or (if you are female), would you ever consider attending just one class for the novelty experience?
