Just as an FYI - I have seen mice chew off thier own limbs to get out of a glue trap, and one you have caught a mouse in a glue trap is it up to you to kill it..or you can let it writhe in the trash and starve to death...either way not a really nice demise...
as much as I am not about killing animals unless you are gonna eat 'em...I would suggest getting a cat regardless...becuase they are just so damn cute and they will proudly bring you each mouse that they catch..or at least part of it...and granted it maybe on your pillow...but a gift is a gift...
your landlord has a legal obligation to rid your house of vermin and if they are not going to take care of the problem you can get your 'sue on'...
