Ok, I'll bite and reply as one of those who post regularly here but have not shown up for any of the events being hosted through this board. I post on this board because I have the time at work (since i sit by a computer all day) to actually post. I enjoy the exchange of ideas and learning new things about hoboken and getting opinions of places/things having to do with Hoboken and/or anthing else.
I don't feel the need to join any of the group meetings (I might in the future)...I'm not single, I've made a few friends in Hoboken and my friends from new york city have finally learned Hoboken isn't a foreign country. With my schedule and existing circle of friends I don't feel the need. I wouldn't be opposed to meeting anyone here but is there something wrong with just posting and sharing ideas with other fellow hobokinites if I have the time while I'm at work to do so? It's not like I post here outside of work - acutally the last thing I want to do on my own time is be on a computer.
