While I don't debate that the lack of a "plot" may turn some people off, I will say that, on a separate but related topic, many men actually do get turned on by having women read "erotic novels" to them or hell, even by reading something like Penthouse Forum or something like that on their own. While men do get turned on by the mere mechanics of sex as well as by sexually suggestive images quite easily, they can also get turned on by "plots" and/or stories that lead up to it.
