Or you move to Germany. Tax is included. Tips are much less (more like rounding up to the next Euro) and more flexible (anything from no tip to 20% is not uncommon). But the real advantage is that you usually have separate checks.

And even if people still put in the wrong amount, everything is so cheap, it doesn't really matter (nothing beats a $2.00 mouth-watering all you can eat vegetarian buffet!)
