These pieces are hand made. I applied a hand made kanji to glass pieces and accented with various colors and decorations.
I have been a jeweler and crafter for more than 15 years. I have been a second level Reiki Practitioner for nearly seven years. I have combined my two passions together to bring ways for myself and others to celebrate this loving, healing art.
Some pieces include the Reiki Precepts as translated directly from Usui's memorial in Japan. Usui is known to have recommended saying these precepts upon rising and before sleeping with your hands in prayer pose at the heart center:
"Today; Show no anger; Have no worries; Feel gratitude; Be diligent in all undertakings; Treat others with kindness."
