Caring Center International is a very worthy project and as well as a giving it a place on the Resources page of my site, I have decided to promote the initiative by posting this info to as many groups and forums as possible - so I apologise in advance to people who may receive duplicate copies from the various groups -

The Caring Center began with a vision to make complementary care available to every community.
So many people have a desire for complementary care services, but no way to find them. Others have received energy training, but have no outlet for their practice.
The Caring Center meets both these needs.
We all become empowered when we can create a supportive community of people caring for each other.
Caring Center International is a non-profit corporation dedicated to the establishment of Caring Centers throughout the world.
They provide literature, start-up training, ongoing technical assistance, professional development and national networking to help people establish a Caring Center in their own community.
Each center is run and staffed by volunteers who offer treatment at no cost. Since its onset in October of 1996, the center has provided thousands of treatment sessions to people who have come seeking relief from a host of different medical challenges and have found not only improved health, but spiritual growth.
Each Caring Center is usually open for a 2-hour period, one evening per week. Every Caring Center is autonomous and works in unity with their sponsoring location to create a service that is responsive to the needs of the community.
The Caring Center is actually a vision. A vision of a world where each one of us cares for and supports each other . . .
a world where each of us shares our gifts to those in need . . .
a world that is joined at the heart.
