Not being a Jungian (never got beyond study of the "Collective UNconscious" in that sense), I was actually using the term 'Collective Consciousness' in the sense of a 'group mind' or 'egregore' - at least in one definition of the the term 'egregore' :-)
i.e.: a kind of group mind which is created when people consciously come together for a common spiritual or esoteric purpose...
