Not all attunements affect the energy channels in the same way. A Tibetan Buddhist Llama I studied with put it something like this... "empowerments are like seeds and fertilizer. They will all help you but you need to water them to grow." If you do not practice with what you are given attunements and empowerments will still help you in the path of spiritual growth but only so much. It is ok to receive many but focus and train with just a few.
The big incentive for most people will probably be the low introductory cost, especially for those that like to receive a lot of attunements or healing sessions. The incentive for us is that doing this will greatly simplify the website. I won't have to think what should I charge for each attunement. I won't have to answer repeat questions over and over in emails.
Simplification has been a huge undertaking for DorjeBob and I this year. We have notebooks full of channellings, symbols, healing energies etc... many have never made it to the website due to time constraints. So, I am really excited about offering this format for our site in part because I'll be able to start sorting through them.
If you feel drawn to join, please do. If not, that's great too. Everyone has their own path.
