Hello Dearest Be,
I love love love Lynns books.
Her book "woman of Wyyrd" most espiecailly got to my heart and soul. I'd get chills reading her materials and cry alot. The Wyyrd materials seemed to speak to me on a very deep level.
I know that such stories are probably tough to write about when sometimes words are insignificant next to the experience.
Not to take anything away from finality, or Lunareikin about the validity of their claims that her works are fiction, but I'd like to find out the source of these accusations against Lynn.
On her books, she says that only the names of people and some locations are kept private because of obvious reasons.
On another note, I'd like to personally write Lynn and ask her about that.
Sometimes I think people are jealous of someone that might have such a experience as Lynn writes of. Also I know that there are Native Americans who simply hate white people and any attempts they may have to "infilitrate" what they consider their exclusive right to that certain aspect of spirituality.
Makes me kind of sad because we have all been indians in one incarnation. To say someone can't be truly appreciative of the customs etc.. just because were white is like saying any nationality is (fill in blank here) because (fill in blank again).
Once again I am not saying the previous posters are jealous, or lying in some way. I would like to know the source of information that says Lynns books are fiction.
So you know be, the first book is Medicine woman and its great to start there because all the other books and the relationship she has with Ruby and Agnes start from here.
I have read all her books and love to reread them from time to time. Her works definately touch a place within me that remembers my lifetimes as an indian.
Enjoy!
