It is different ... it is not straightforward in the way Petter`s and Rand`s are, in that their versions are their own thoughts on history as they see it ... in fact The Stienes do not really give that much of an interpretation ... more just the cataloguing...
they give everybody else`s versions, with credit where it is due ... so that by referring to the book, you can get an overview of a wide range of views from the varying branches of Reiki, and also how they developed.
I found it interesting, detailed and also informative and I felt they had gone to a lot of trouble to research extensively to get the maximum information.
I am still reading it, so cannot give a total overview at this stage, but have to say I am very glad I got it.
It would be interesting to see what you think after reading it :>}
