"But the way he put down everyone who ever came before him as an energy worker really bothered me. Even if he really does believe he has been given a greater gift than anyone else ever alive on this planet, he might want to tone that down a bit since we've all heard that dozens of times".
I definitely felt that he was arrogant about his work and condescending about other healers (as he terms "new agers"). He says that "new agers" have told him they were envious of his healing abilities b/c they "had been trying to attain his level of mastery their whole lives".
A lot of his ego came through in this book. But then again, he came from the more conventional world of chiropractics (as opposed to the "new agers"). I think though that is his purpose, as he is connected to those in the closed, medical community and can bring these possibilities to them. He is more of an acceptable source for the traditional, non-spiritual institutions.
