- characters in dreams are often aspects of ourselves including Shadow characters - those aspects that are not so desireable and which we try to repress and suppress yet which sneak thru from time to time anyhow
- or sometimes important (positive) aspects which we repress and which are trying to get our attention
- a dream diary is an excellent tool for finding threads from which to learn

- nightmares are often messages also and perhaps important ones about unresolved matters which are, of course, genenerally expressed symbolically in dreams
- so taking images or characters, including animals, literally may lead one astray
- as for wolves and arguing??
- make that a dog and perhaps the bark is louder than the bite??
- do we not sometimes bare our fangs in an arguement??
- do we not sometimes "go for the jugular"??
- are we not also sometimes the target of such behavior??
- animals in dreams also can symbolize other "lower" center issues, sexual drives for example (apart from relational love)
- but ultimately what the dreams mean to you is how you will end up dealing with the issues (Mindfully or otherwise)
