Thank you celticcapricorn that was a brief
run down of history. I appreciated visiting
these sites. I remember visiting Drogheda as
a youngster and seeing Oliver plunkett's head.
I use to play near the grave of St Patrick
St Columba, and St Bridget at the Cathedral
in Downpatrick. I have an interest in the
non christan part of Ireland, the part that I
was not exposed to.
It has taken my nephew years of research before
computers and finally published the origin of our
family name. He continues to research. I believe
that the Druids have got to be in there or at the
very least we were influenced by them. My family
history has been traced back to the Woden Tribe.
