- at this website I read: "It's not Science fiction, It's String theory"
- well, having listened to and read a bit of what some members of the "scientific community" (theoretical mathemeticians and astrophysicists, etc) have to say about String Theory, it appears that there are relatively few reputable 'scientists' in the String Theory camp - many others think that the theory is so beyond our means of "testing" that the 'theory' really amounts to the makings of science fiction

- yet, one aspect that I like about string theory is that, intentionally or not, it seems to allude to the "web of the universe" - if not directly to Grandmother Spider
