Well I think that as humans we try to understand what goes on around us. These days we have better education, so don't have to resort to the closed minded superstition that once prevailed.
Logic I think is there for a reason, all things are logical, even those that are beyond our current ability to see as logic, but to see those, to my mind we have to srep outside of that logic at times.
Scientists use math to explain thier theroies, just as we would perhaps talk about other dimensions, spirit guides etc to explain ours.
Part of string theory is about other dimensions. Ok perhaps at the moment science fiction, but how much of that has become science fact in the last few years.
Everything has logic and reason, even that which we can not percive as having that yet.
