I am not a big symbols user (yet?) My preivious work with symbols has all be based on wicca. Even then I never really felt drawn (no pun intended) to use symbols. I guess because to me, right or wrong, my view had always been that learning a symbol (standing in for something else) was just something more to learn. Keeping the orginal intention behind the symbols seemed enough.
But that was then this is now.
I had noticed the similarity with the sawstika too.
It is also used by some native american tribes. If I remember my PBS history Himiler actually introduced the swastika based on the native american tradition.
But I amy NOT remember that correctly.
