I am not sure you appreciate the nature of electroshock therapy. But correct me if I am in error. And, Electroshock therarpy is not dead and gone. And, it had nothing to do with conditioning the brain or re-aligning it or some such nonsense. Electroshock therapy, in essence, induced an acute state of short term amnesia to try and help break the cyclical nature of depressive ruminations and fears in some severe forms of depression. It is a severe 'treatment' and has significant dangers.
And, no telling what dangers there may be in this brain conditioning. Caveat healee.
