I have also experienced Spirit calling. This weekend has been incredible. I felt like I walked in heaven for a few hours. I have not gone through any major health crisis, or near death experiences, or anything that severe that normally trigger such strong messages. Rather it is an awareness from various events. Events that were too odd, yet oddly synchronistic. Events which on their own don't mean a lot, yet they tie in so beautifully I know there was a reason for it all.
I met someone on Saturday who was able to give me a message in such a way that it touched my soul. Then later the same day I met someone else, who walked with me a few yards. We chatted about inane things, the ducks, weather, sunshine, weddings, etc., but there was some unexplained meaning behind this walk which also touched my soul. I can't really explain how or why, I just know that when we parted company I wasn't the same person.
Today I 'chatted' with two robins, offering both Reiki. The first one graciously declined and flew away. The second graciously accepted and took a few steps towards me to show its trust. We Reiki'd for about 10-15 minutes then the session ended. I thanked him, and he thanked me.
The sun shining through the coloring leaves, the perfect temperature, the ambiance of life this weekend has been amazing. I don't know what turned, but something did. I am someone new. The connection I feel to everything is infinitely stronger today than it was yesterday. Spirit called, I awoke, and took another step forward on my path.
