Hi.
I would simply offer that thoughts that seem to go away for a while but come back may have been supressed or even repressed which means one has not really worked the issues thru yet.
Once an issue is worked thru this does not mean such thoughts may not enter one's processes again. Afterall, most of us are not hermits and have to encounter other
people every day. The key is that once an issue is worked thru we may ackmowledge the thoughts but then let them pass without the emotional attachments (emotional reactions)
Easier said than done, of course.
