Once, when my sis's hoss had a 'hangnail', my sis was concerned and asked if I'd reiki it. Since the hoss wasn't very touch/feely(at the time, being a young hoss and hardly no handling) I decided to go the 'distant' route.
After a few minutes of this the hoss shook its head and lay down with a 'whump' still shaking its head.
A few days later the 'hangnail' fell off and hoss was okay. Probably did pack a punch. Reiki 1-hoss nil.
