Michael,

- yes, I do disagree
- practitioners may intrude their own intentions and energy into a Reiki session
- does this happen often? I have no idea as most people don't talk about it or may not even know when it occurs
- however, I know from personal experience that it may occur and, over the years, have heard some similar reports from other experienced energy workers
- in particular, if ULE is is sent to someone who is not expecting it or to someone suffering one of the significant psychiatric disorders (and may not be competent to give their permission for Reiki or other standard therapies), the energy may be misinterprettted and may exacerbate an existing condition
- that would be harm
- and would be the responsibility of the practitioner who did the Reiki work
- ULE does not have a mind of its own - it responds to our intention (conscious or otherwise)
- this means that mindfulness is critical and is a practitioner's responsibility and the consquences of lack of mindfulness may not be blithely shuffled off onto recipients

All Blessings,
