Reading books and any materials I can find on the web makes me understand and practice Reiki whenever I have a chance. All I want is to help people and bring happiness to their and my own life.
> However, I have 2 questions regarding Reiki. First, whenever I meditate or try to imagine the Reiki Guides - I don't seem to see them or hear them. How would I know that they are present and what is the best way to meditate to find them? Secondly, I have been reading different opinions concerning how long one should take to become a Reiki Master. Of course, there is an issue of payment but also should one practice Reiki II for quite awhile before pursuing the next level?

Hi, dina.
What no one seems to be saying is that reiki does not require guides or a belief in guides. If you want to have outside guidance, fine, but it is not integral to practicing reiki! I like the comment about guides being part of our own spiritual wisdom-that is how I see it.
You will know when to seek your third attunement-usually a lot of shuffling about and cleansing occurs in ones life :)
for now, enjoy your reiki-practice-do lots of self healings.
Peace
Faith
