Easyyoung,

Welcome to The Cafe. :-}}
I am glad for your voice and light.
- it is taught that reiki practices do not use "personal energy" - thus ought not be "draining"
- if one feels drained after any type of energy work one has used one's own energy - and in certain types of energy work this is 'expected'
>;-}}
- but not reiki practices
- taking on the "negative" energy of someone else can be draining - partly because then one must deal with all this extra stuff with one's own energy
- really not a happy situation
- it is also not unknown that a practitioner might "experience" briefly spme aspect of that for which the client has come
- as for the shaking you mention?? hard to be sure since Iwas not there
but...
- of the people I have enountered at my hospital (through our pain clinic) who have the diagnosis of fybromyalgia, a fair number do report some sort of "trembling" if they get fatigued - fatigued being included in the definition of "energy drain"
- I would suggest finding some ways to keep unwanted, draining energy out
- and be more Mindful of your own energy so that it does not get used during reiki practices
- is there more going on with you neurologically than fibromyalgia??
- do your "recipients" report anything during these sessions??
- If you know a Reiki Master who can do a series of Ketsueki-kokan with you I suggest this
Hope this helps.

all blessings,
