I too am nervous about teaching reiki but I just attuned two young boys aged about 10 and it was so wonderful and special. I was told by my guides and reiki friends that I was ready but I was not sure. So with a lot of help I developed a 'reiki for children' system and it worked out so well that I am going to make it my life's work. The two boys reacted wonderully describing and drawing what they saw during the attunements that it was a lesson for me too. Have confidence that if you know that you are ready then you will be guided. Reiki is love and it will always be there to guide you.
My Reiki for children course includes a lot of drawing, using energy, discovering your energy,sharing crystals, making crystal wands and learning how to use reiki. It is similar to reiki 1 for adults but brought down to the children's level.
