Thanks for bringing up the question. I have recently come across some information re: mainstream medicine collaborating with complimentary therapies.
At the University of Saskatchewan, they are in the midst of a study of women undergoing treatment for breast cancer. They are using traditional treatment...chemo and radiation but are asking half the group to undergo reiki. So far, they are having tremendous success...not a surprise to us. The research is revealing much less negative side effectsof the chemo and radiation when followed by rieki.
Also, we have a women's shelter here for sexually abused females. They have used reiki very successfully and have published a very extensive report. The place is called Tamara's House.
My master has just made the news here in Canada by being present in the operating room during surgery. The patient rec'd rieki throughout her entire surgery.
