Why do you see creativity as an opposite to logical and scientific? I am a programmer which is viewed of as logical and scientific and I certainly do analyze things, but the fact of the matter is if you don't have creativity you will never be a good programmer. While good logic skills are essential, you can't figure out how to make new things without being creative. In fact, I have discovered that the majority of really good programmers are also musicians.
This is really true of any scientific field too. Without creativity, a mathmatician would not think of a new way to prove a thoerom, nor would a doctor discover a new way to cure a disease. All of the technology that we enjoy today is a result of creativity.
Now there are certainly people who use logic and science as a means to disparage things that they don't understand and are afraid of, but that's not being logical, that's just being fearful.
