Thank you to all who have responded to my request. Not only have you all provided me with some wonderful material leads, you have helped to restore my spirits. While a couple of days ago, I was feeling a little overwhelmed and questioning my "worthiness" and capacity for this task, your words have restored me to my center and helped me to remember that the Benevolent Universe will not ask what cannot be done.
I am truly honored to be doing this work and sincerely grateful for the supportive and loving community I have discovered here.
I am interested in "case study" stories that anyone would be willing to share. I have several from my own experience with clients but my work has been primarily focused on those with serious mental illness. I would like to include in the materials I offer the hospital staff, examples of the healthful effects of Reiki as they relate to the illnesses or trauma they work with. I have learned from the administrators that this hospital has a particularly large geriatric facility, so information on how Reiki has aided the elderly with general dis-ease would be beneficial. Many of the nurses I have spoken with are interested in learning about using Reiki for the dying, so stories about your experiences there would be appreciated as well.
I am always amazed at the wonderful and surprising ways that Reiki enhances the healing process and enriches the lives of the recipients. This is truly a gift of love from the Universe.
