Sara,
/*\ Namaste :-}}
- the Teaching, based on belief, that the energy of Reiki Practices is self-directed, meaning I assume that it directs itself, is not universal by any means, even among Reiki Teachers
>:-}}
- and some say that there is no evidence that the energy in Reiki has "an intelligence" of its own -
- some equate Reiki Energy with Source -
- I would say that Source is infinitely more complex than Reiki and that we, as mortals, have really little clue as to the nature of Sources's "Intelligence"
>:-}}
- based on the questions and comments of many people I wonder how it is that the energy sometimes does not seem to "do what we want" - or "go where it is needed - the latter often seeming to be similar to that which the practitioner wants to accomplish - to be a healer, etc - Intent
- so, one wonders, if Reiki has some sort of intelligence why such limited and sporadic results??
- simply witness all the posts asking why self-reiki is not working
>:-}}
- if reiki energy directs itself to where it is needed with no help from us then what is the problem??
- any thoughts on the matter are welcome
>:-}}
- we do have intelligence and Intent - and in Samsara these are Key
- too, it is taught by some that in Samsara energy is only energy and that it has no innate intteligence
of its own - that it is the practitioner who acts as the focal point - but must also give direction to the energy otherwise it remains generally unfocused
>:-}}
- it seems clear to me those that doubt their abilities or commiments or training make up a large proportion of those who say "the reiki didn't work, or the reiki didn't get there, etc
- remember too - recipients need Mindful Intent in receiving and using the energy - thus permission is Key
>:-}}
- there is thus also the question: how does recipient's Intent affect the practitioner??
>:-}}
- hope this helps
Reiki all around,
all blessings,
Firekeeper
