sadie	hi pam, i attend monthly reiki shares,i've never seen anyone sweep before a reiki treatment,however most everyone in the share group sweeps after,this makes sense as you are channeling positive energy during the treatment,after when you sweep you are smoothing and sealing the outer layers of the energy field to kind of keep that good energy safe. happiness from sadie
