I have never grounded myself before doing reiki either.So far I haven't had any problems because I wasn't grounded. I think you may be right about not seeing anything written about grounding yourself before you do any healing therapies.I'm not against grounding oneself during healing etc.if a person feels it is necessary. I don't know if this helps you Geoff (tree).
