Just to add my bit to the last 19 or so posts,i didnt think i was confused, but i am now, I agree that in the 2nd degree only 3 symbols are shown to the student, i.e empowerment symbol, mental / emotional symbol and the distance healing symbol, and that harth is not used in the attunement in the usui Reiki system.
i was also taught that the empowerment symbol is drawn usually in an anti clockwise form and that the clockwise form is of a softer more feminine enregy, as for doubling the symbol, isn't this usually used for helping to manifest things that we are asking for ?
i hope this doent add to the confusion.
