I've not progressed to the level that you mention but i've heard of similar things happening.
Personally i've felt reiki flow through me spontaneously when i go to some place of discord or think of some people.its like if there is a need the flow just happens without me coming into the picture.
Depending on the msg may be you can act.strike a convesrsation with strangers and drop a hint may be.
i'm sure you'll find better advice soon.
