She kept trying to do self Reiki throughout, but could feel nothing, wheras before she had felt the flow very strongly. She did not try and treat others during that time.
I agree with you that it is more a question of awareness with Reiki. My intuition leads me to think that her fear over an uncomfortable spiritual experience(which had nothing to do with Reiki)led her to put up blocks.
