Is this a Reiki discussion group or a spiritual healing group? Usui would turn in his grave to hear all this talk of protection, auras, smudging, getting chemicals fed back from the patient, sea salt. What happened to Reiki?
The time when Reiki is most needed, during the chemo, you are recommending not to give it. To the extent that Joy has given her-self a cold, so that she would have an excuse not to treat this poor patient.
I have know people how have received Reiki during their Chemo, and Reiki has helped them cope with the chemicals, so that the side affects such as nausea are reduced.
Thankfully, Jahara has talked about experience of treating, and not just scaremongering from unfounded speculation.
Thankfully, I learned from a Reiki Master who taught Reiki, as based on Usui Reiki not Western (spiritual healing) Reiki, via Hawayo Takata, that was corrupted and westernised to the extend that Usui became a Christian, rather than the Tendi Buddhist that he was.
