hi everyone,

so, is it therefore "bad" to imagine the receipent being well and happy? does that imply that the ego is getting involved?

although i haven't been practising reiki on others for a while now, when i did treat others i use to imagine that they were well and happy. it just seemed so natural to do so, cos i loved giving the treamtments! and i suppose that's not instrinisically reiki but what's so wrong with that? i know it's up to receiver to decide (mostly subconsciously) the effect reiki will have on them.

i think that when intention is discussed in books, it concerns the "proper" reasons for doing reiki on others. not to make loads of money, not to cure people of there dis-eases, but rather to share beautiful reiki energy!

when i taught, i use to say that we do not cure anything. if a person comes to you with a headache, you do reki on them and the headache is gone, you do not cure the headache, it's reiki working through u, and how wonderful is that!!!

so, whats wrong with positive imagery of the client when doing treatments?

i don't have a lot of internet access so tar very much in advance for any responses i get to this message

lots of love!!
