I once had a particularly vicious boss who was attended by a couple of unpleasant entities. [My best guess is that they were initially attracted by her energy, and then she and they fed off each other. When she was finally stripped of professional power, they apparently abandoned her, presumably in favor of someone else through whose influence they could cause more mischief.] I got in the habit of, whenever she was around me, throwing up a protective shield: a thick wall of protective white light on my side, tinged with lavender on hers to dissipate her crap. In short order, two things happened: the visualization became almost reflexive, and she always went someplace else within a minute or less.
I don't know if this is feasible in your situation, but it certainly worked for me.
