I have no trouble attributing the toy coming out to Reiki. After all, it relaxes (so tight tissues would relax), and reduces inflammation , so it very well could have set the stage for irritation around the toy to calm down and allow it to pass out of the body. The same thing happens with many other "stuck" things, be they energetic or more solid things like kidney stones. When I give a Reiki treatment people are always amazed at how clogged up sinuses drain (same thing often happens with massage of the back).
Go ahead, it's safe to belieeeeeeeeeeeeeeve! But not required! LOL
