With reference to the boundaries and permission posts.
I did Reiki 9 years ago with Alan Sweeney, in my opinion one of the best teachers in the uk and probably the world.
He said "you do not need to have permission to send or give Reiki to people, as long as you ask before you send or give the Reiki, that the Reiki is for the highest good of all concerned." He re-iterated that people who say you do need permission don't know, and are wrong. He said that the person you are sending or giving the Reiki to, decide on a much deeper level anyway about whether or not they choose to accept the Reiki. If they are happy about it on this deeper level, they will accept it, if not, they won't!
