Of course, there is no "proof" that such a thing exists, if there were it would be simple.
I am not talking about a conscious level here, I am talking about a sub-conscious level, that I was taught and most people decide on this sub-conscious level whether or not they recive Reiki. It seems to make sense really that if somebody is of a very dark or negative energy, they will sub- consciously reject any healing, but the majority of people will happily accept it.
I did Reiki 1 and 2, 9 years ago now and I was so dissilusioned with what I was taught about it, even though I did it "traditionally", there was such lack of any half decent information, regarding the symobls and how important it is to get them right, preferred colours for better results etc. The list is endless.
I was drawn to Allan Sweeney and did his courses here in the uk. I learnt so much on the reiki 3 and 4 with him that I decided to redo reiki 1 and 2 with him. I learnt more from his reiki one than I had learnt in the 7 years before, and I initially did it with somedody very very high up the reiki ladder shall we say.
Allan Sweeney is the only person who has been invited out of tens of millions of people to become the honoury president of a Japanese Reiki Society because of his vast knowledge of reiki. He was fired questions for two hours by three very high Reiki people and answered them all correctly.
Since doing Reiki 9 years ago now, my main concern is the incredinle variety of symbols I have seen, and learning some startling things about them all.
Allan Sweeney has just publiched his first book on Reiki about six months ago and his far outstrips any other I have seen or read. He also has his own web site and healing centre.
