Looks like I've stirred up a hornets nest! Well, here goes.
1) I know it's evil because I felt it and if you had a pair of eyes looking it you in such a way, you would think it's evil.
2) Some critters out there are created by people going in circles with negative thoughts. Some critters are simply blobs, not spirits, not souls. I have found some of these critters attached to my aura after a day out shopping. It's amazing what a person can bring home that's not on the shopping list other than the gooey gum on the bottom of my shoe! So yes, I will dissolve these critters and send this energy back to the Universe to be recycled for some better use.
3) As for the permission bit. I didn't send the occupants the energy, I simply sent energy in their surroundings. If they don't like it, then they can reject it.
