While I do agree with you to some extent I ask this: What could be more comapssionate that sending a lost soul into the light of Home? Yes it is possible that some souls float around us because they choose to and are possibly keeping wathc over loved ones but in my opnion thay could do this from Home so why be here? Also I have come acroos some pretty nasty energies and my space was better off without them. Would it be suggested that I send the energy of a soul, that had spent its life molesting his sister and otherwise abusing her, that had continued to hang around her after death to cause further misery, out into the world to affect someone else?
I do not send every energy I see into the light but I do make my decision to this with much love and compassion.
On the other hand if I feel I am being threatened it takes a presence of mind that, is learned over time, to figure out if it is a real threat or a self imposed fear. I do agree with you that in this learning time there are some energies/souls that are unduly sent Home. I will admit that I have done this in a moment of fear before learning better.
