That is not what we call a reiki circle here. We have a reiki table set up and one person gets on the table and everyone else gathers around in chairs, stools, whatever, and we all be reiki with this person. Front and back, the usual positions but of course depending on how many are there, hands are placed on the person.
Then each other person gets on the table, one by one and we all be reiki with them. If we know how many are there or to be there, we divide the time by that number so we know about how much time to spend on each person.
"I am assuming that guests sit in chairs in a circle and I go around giving them reiki while meditative music plays. This lasts for about an hour. This was my experience when I attended one as a recipient.
