Cold hands may reflect what is going on with you or the client or both of you. So that leaves alot of possibilities!
What I have experienced personally is that coldness can be associated with not being present while working on a client ( distraction, inadequate preparation, etc), a client rejecting the energy or harboring fear (thereby shutting down the energy flow), the room temperature is too chilly, changes in body such as menopause.
My suggestion:move away from the association of "warmth" as the only hallmark of successful energy flow and accept that the perception of energy can change in Reiki practitioner & recipient.
One practitioner I know views hot & cold as yin & yang issues. Dont know more than that, so cant reply intelligently on that point.
