Thank you for your reply. I am an Usui Reiki Master and had a strong detox reaction after I was attuned to Usui Reiki 2. This continued till I did my Usui master level 8 months after being attuned to reiki 2. It has been a year since my Usui Master level attunement and I have recently been attuned to Kundalini Reiki. The Kundalini Master level attunement happened last week. The attunements are not given in person but are distant attunements. This system of reiki was developed by Ole Gabrielson. The energy appears to be very powerful but feels different from Usui reiki. From what I understand the attunements link you to the earth energies and also seem to raise the Kundalini energy prevelant at the base of the spine for healing purposes. So when you give reiki you are utilising the reiki energy as well as your own Kundalini energy for healing. This system also has a meditation for raising the Kundalini energy. Kundalini Reiki is extremely simple, there are no symbols at all unlike Usui Reiki. It is simply your intention which transfers the energy. Since my attunement process started to the Kundalini 123 attunemnts I have been sick with physical symptoms like the recurrence of a severe skin allergy which doesn't seem to get better with any medication as well as flu, fever etc. I have spoken to my reiki master about it and he told me that he had a strong detox reaction when he was attuned, which lasted for a good 4 months! However, his was not physical but on a mental / emotional & financial level. He has advised me to just wait it out & give myself a lot of reiki until the symptoms disappear.
