Hi: New to the forum and site here. I've been a level 2 Reiki Practitioner for a little under a year. I had a Reiki session a few weeks ago where energy in the lower chakras (heart and downward) were not as "active" as the upper areas. Having previous experience with other healing energy modalities, I always thought that where energy is most active, those are the areas that are "healthy", and areas with less energy activity need more attention. HOWEVER, my intuition was telling me that this girl was "calm" in her lower chakras, well-grounded and comfortable in her physical life, but that her upper chakras needed the work because she is searching in her spirituality. It seems to me that Reiki healing is quite different than the other modalities in which I have experience. ANy thoughts here?
