Otoharo!

Reiki is not something that one learns. If one thinks one is learning reiki, one is not differentiating between WHO is oneself and what is one's ego.

Reiki is not learned. It is an energy that is experienced only. The only way to know reiki is through experience.

Oneself is a BEING. One is not the brain nor does one live in one's brain. Ego does. That is the only place that ego lives.

In reiki, one makes a differentiation between ego in the brain and ONE's BEINGNESS that lives elsewhere than the brain.

Once one has experienced reiki healing and then taken reiki I class, and experienced the attunements, one then has the opportunity to be vigilant in differentiating what ego says and does, and what oneself knows.

Another vigilance is keeping onself clear of blocks to reiki energy. there are so many blocks! Blocks are things like emotions. Especially those emotions one has never pulled out to really look at and examine the feelings of and then choosing to release those that one does not wish to live with any more. such emotions are those from childhood, the betrayals, the neglect, the anger and beligerance, the pains and sorrows. All emotions come from the brain where ego dwells so ego is unlimited in its blow up of the importance of these emotions. Releasing these are difficult and may take lifetimes to do. Especially without help. Then come those emotions related to later home relationships, spouses, offspring, in-laws, etc. These get played out in relationships with friends and at work.

Everyone knows all this. but there is a long gap between having a knowledge of what something is and being done with it.

I can attest to the joyful freedom of becoming clear from emotions.

True feelings, like reiki, are energy. Feelings do not come from the brain where ego resides. Thus, feelings are rich clear avenues for experiencing reiki, and life in general. One never reaches this state without constant vigilance. Feelings are joy, love, tenderness, peace, etc. One can also feel bad. experience sorrow and remorse. But one then has to discern whether remorse is still a feeling or whether it is now an emotion that ego can turn the screws on. Sadness is perhaps the emotion of sorrow, a feeling. Because in sadness, ego has a hayday.
